Webometrics: evolution of social media presence of universities

چکیده
This paper aims at an important task of computing the webometrics university ranking and investigating if there exists a correlation between rankings provided by world prominent rankers such as QS ranking, for time period 2005–2016. However, portal provides required data recent years only, starting from 2012, which is insufficient investigation. The rest can be obtained internet archive. existing extraction tools are incapable extracting archive, due to unusual link structure that consists web archive link, year, date, target links. We developed scrapper extract data, 2012–2016. After indicators were quantified, universities ranked accordingly. used coefficient identify relationship computed us original using spearman pearson measures.
